The Travis Science Academy 8th Grade A volleyball team opened their season on Thursday with a 25-22, 25-20 win over the Belton M.S. Lady Tigers at Mustang Gym.

The Lady Mustangs were led by Kameryn Tate & Alalade Akiode who each delivered 4 kills; Vivienne Allen with 2 kills and Jazmynn Salinas with 7 digs. Kameryn Tate also had 10 ace serves to start the 2nd set.

Travis (1-0) returns to play on September 4 when they will face Copperas Cove in a road match beginning at 6:30 pm.
