COPPERAS COVE - The Travis Science Academy 7th Grade B volleyball team was on the road Thursday and defeated Copperas Cove Junior High by a score of 28-26, 25-17.
The Lady Mustangs were led by Madison Lockett with 4 aces while Jordyn Mathis had 3 blocks and Ashlyn Day with 3 aces .
Travis (2-0) returns to play on September 11 when they will host North Belton at Mustang Gym beginning at 5:00 pm.
