BELTON - The Travis Mustang 8th grade A football team traveled to Belton on Tuesday to take on the South Belton Tigers. The Mustangs won the contest decisively as they defeated the Tigers 40-14.

For the Mustangs, Christopher Weaver had two fumble recoveries for touchdowns while also returning a kickoff for a touchdown. Darryl Luck had a 10-yard touchdown, and Jeremiah Kprazeon also had an interception.

Travis improved to 2-1 on the season will return to play on October 7 when they will host Belton Middle School beginning at 6:15pm.
