The Lady Mustang volleyball team had a successful week on the courts as they swept the Lamar lady Bearcats on Thursday night and both the 8th Grade A and 7th Grade A teams won the consolation championship of the Rockdale Tournament on Saturday.

The score against Lamar were:

7B: 25-9 25-3
7A: 23-25 25-20 15-13
8B: 25-22 25-20
8A: 25-15 25-22

The 8th Grade A suffered a 1st game loss to Lexington, won a forfeit from Hearne and defeated Lamar in the final game to go 2-1.

The 7th Grade A suffered a 1st game loss to Lexington, but came back by defeating Hearne & then Granger, also to go 2-1.

The Lady Mustangs will return to action on Thursday when they will host Bonham at Mustang Gym with games beginning at 5:00 pm.
