The Travis Science Academy Lady Mustang 8th Grade A team opened the season on Thursday with a 574-1 victory over Copperas Cove Junior High at Mustang Gym.

The Lady Mustangs were led by Alalade Akiode who had a team high 32 points and 6 steals while Kameryn Tate had 24 points and 7 steals.

Also for the Lady Mustangs, Lucy Lucas had 7 points, Kamorah Asselin 5 points and with 2 points each were Eden Felix, Bri'Ayjah Hudson-Rutledge and Jamiyah Stonum.

The Lady Mustangs will return to action on December 3rd when they will travel to Belton to take on South Belton Middle School at 6:30 pm.
