The Travis Science Academy Boys 8th Grade B team hosted Lamar Middle School on Wednesday night at the Mustang Gym. After building a 21-4 lead by the half, the Mustangs cruised to a 27-9 victory over the Bearcats.

The Mustangs were led by Tristen Dears who tallied a team high 9 points.

Also for the Mustangs, Maddox Brock with 6 points, Christian Jackson and Ja'kadrian Robinson each with 4 points. Rounding out the scoring with 2 points were Izayah Anguiano and Denver McCoy.

The Mustangs will be back in action on January 8 with a road game at Lake Belton beginning at 5:30 pm.
