The Travis Science Academy Boys 7th Grade A team hosted Lamar Middle School on Wednesday night at the Mustang Gym. In a battle of city rivals, the Mustangs defeated the Bearcats by a score of 45-24 at Mustang Gym.

The Mustangs were led by Felix Arizmendi who had a team high 9 points while Brayden Rayson and Wayne Smith each had 8 points.

Also for the Mustangs, with 6 points each were Elijah Hogue and Micah Connell and with 4 points each were Joseph Steel and Charles Mitchell.

The Mustangs will be back in action on January 8 with a road game at Lake Belton beginning at 5:30 pm.
