The Travis Science Academy Boys 8th Grade A team hosted Lamar Middle School on Wednesday night at the Mustang Gym. In a battle of city rivals, the Mustangs defeated the Bearcats by a score of 60-37 at Mustang Gym.

The Mustangs were led by Kason Harris-Jefferson who had a team high 18 points while Dallas Pefu had 11 points.

Also for the Mustangs, Le'Andra Wheelock with 9 points, Christopher Weaver with 8, Jeremiah Kprazeon 6, Hayden Whiteker 4 and with 2 points each were Zaden Jurca and Hudson Macey.

The Mustangs will be back in action on January 8 with a road game at Lake Belton beginning at 6:30 pm.
