TEMPLE, Texas — The Travis Science Academy Lady Mustang 8th Grade B volleyball team put on a clinic Thursday night at Mustang Gym, sweeping the visiting Lamar Lady Bearcats in straight sets for an emphatic home-opener victory.

Travis controlled the match from the opening serve to the final point, rolling to a 25-9 victory in the first set before closing out the night with a stunning 25-6 performance in the second. With the dominant two-set win, the Lady Mustangs bounce back in style to even their season record at 1-1.

The Lady Mustangs set the tone early with relentless serve accuracy and high-energy net play, keeping the Lady Bearcats on defense throughout the evening.
