TEMPLE, Texas — The Travis Science Academy 7th Grade A Volleyball team suffered a tough loss on the road, dropping a hard-fought contest to the North Belton Middle School Bronchos in straight sets, 26-24, 25-16. With the setback, the Lady Mustangs move to 2-2 on the season.

Travis set the tone early in a nail-biting first set, battling the Bronchos point-for-point. Despite a furious defensive effort and timely scoring, North Belton managed to pull away late to snatch the opening frame, 26-24. Riding the momentum of the narrow victory, the Bronchos built an early lead in the second set and held off Travis's comeback attempts to seal the 25-16 win.
