COPPERAS COVE, Texas — The Travis Science Academy Mustang 7th Grade football team faced a tough road test on Monday evening, dropping a 37-0 contest to the Copperas Cove Junior High Bullpups under the lights at Bulldawg Stadium.

Despite the difficult outcome away from home, the Mustangs showed moments of grit and determination throughout the game. Leading the way for Travis was standout player Caleb Hill, who put together a strong individual performance and provided continuous effort and playmaking on the gridiron.

With the defeat, Travis moves to 1-2 on the season as they look to make adjustments and bounce back in front of their home crowd.

Up Next for the Mustangs

The Mustangs won't have to wait long to get back on the field to regroup. Travis returns to action on September 28, when they will play host to North Belton at the Travis Science Academy Football Field. Kickoff is scheduled for 5:30 p.m.
