Easton's 3rd Place finish leads Mustangs in seasons opening meet

Waco– The Travis 7th grade boys cross country team participated in the Midway Invitational at the HOT Soccer Complex in Waco on Wednesday.

The Mustangs took 4th Place in the team standings with 140 points while China Spring was the champions with 28 points.

The Mustangs were led by Easton Williams who finished in 3rd Place in the individual standings. Easton completed the 1.7 mile course in a time of 10:30.

Travis returns to action on September 11th when they will compete in the Cameron Invitational at Cameron Junior High.
