Waco– The Travis 8th grade boys cross country team participated in the Midway Invitational at the HOT Soccer Complex in Waco on Wednesday.

The Mustangs took 8th Place in the team standings with 202 points while River valley was the champions with 62 points.

The Mustangs were led by Jase Jones who took 14th Place of 125 runners. Jase ran the 1.7 mile course in a time of 10:21.

Travis returns to action on September 11th when they will compete in the Cameron Invitational at Cameron Junior High.
