Waco– The Travis 8th grade girls cross country team participated in the Midway Invitational at the HOT Soccer Complex in Waco on Wednesday.

The Lady Mustangs took 9th Place in the team standings with 224 points while West was the champions with 49 points.

The Lady Mustangs were led by Genesis Barrett who placed 17th out of 126 runners. Genesis ran the 1.7 mile course in a time of 12:33.
