The Travis Science Academy 8th Grade A football team opened the 2024 season on Tuesday with a decisive 41-0 victory over Copperas Cove at Woodson Field.

The Offensive Standouts for the Mustangs were Jaylin Carr with 2 touchdowns and Da'Ravion Bell also with a pair of touchdowns.

Defensive Standouts for the Mustangs was Collin McDonald with an interception.

Travis 1-0 will return to action on September 17 when they will be on the road at North Belton beginning at 6:15 pm.
