BELTON - The Lady Mustang 8th Grade B volleyball team won the Belton ISD Consolation championship on Saturday at Belton High School.

After dropping their first game to North Belton 25-15, 25-19, the Lady Mustangs rebounded with a victory over Belton Middle School 25-15, 26-28, 15-11 and then defeated Lamar, 25-9, 25-19 in the trophy game.

A few standout players for Travis were Alisia Daniels, Mon'Quavia Freeman- Lawrence and Destiny Smith.

Travis improves to 2-4 on the season and will host Lake Belton on September 26th at 6:00 pm.
