The Travis Science Academy 8th Grade A football team returned from their bye week and had an impressive showing as they defeated Lake Belton by a score of 40-14 on Tuesday evening.

Offensive standouts for the Mustangs were Colton Grubbs, who had several key blocks, Leon Tolbert, and Jaylon Carr.

Defensively, Marquis Anderson's interception and Da'Ravion Bell's two interceptions were crucial moments that led to success of the Mustangs.

Travis 2-1 will return to action on October 7 when they will travel to McGregor to take on River Valley at 6:15 pm.
