The Travis Mustang 8th grade cross country team competed in the Central Texas District Cross Country championships on Wednesday at Lions Park in Temple.
Travis took 6th Place in the team standings with 122 points while River Valley won the team title with 31 points.
The Mustangs were led by Jase Jones who took 4th Place and ran the 5000 meter course in a time of 13:02.
