LITTLE RIVER - The Travis Science Academy 7th Grade B team opened the 2024-25 season on Saturday with three games in the Academy Tournament. The Lady Mustangs went 1-2 and took 3rd Place overall in the tournament.

Travis defeated Bonham by a score of 18-14 while suffering losses to Academy 23-11 and Jarrell 13-9.

Top scorers for the Lady Mustangs were Emma Ruiz and Makaylynn Taplin.

Top defenders for the Lady Mustangs were Reginae Williams and Arreana Gates.

Travis 1-2 will return to action on November 21st when they will travel to Hewitt to take on Midway Middle School beginning at 6:30 pm.
