The Travis Science Academy 8th Grade A basketball team opened their season on Thursday with a 58-22 loss to Midway at Mustang Gym.

The Mustangs were led by Da'Ravion Bell with a team high 10 points.

Also for the Mustangs, Jase Jones, Bre'Lon Matthews had 4 points and with 2 points each were Leon Tolbert and Darien Townsend.

Travis (0-1) will return to action on December 4th when they will travel to Bonham to take on the Bulldogs beginning at 8:00 pm.
